Maplestory M, the mobile role-playing game, has gained huge popularity after its release in 11 Asian countries. It has raked in 20 billion won in revenue in just one month after its launch for the local market.
Maplestory M by sport publisher NCsoft Corp. also had maintained the most famous app in the the Google Play Store and Apple's App Store in South Korea ahead of the launch of Lineage 2 Revolution.
The company reported weak performance with Maplestory M Mesos the second quarter Maplestory M despite an increase in sales partially due to the poor performance from the company's video game business.
Market watchers attributed the weaker-than-expected second-quarter earnings to Buy Maplestory M Mesos more game players opting with the mobile platform than computers.
They said Maplestory M faces stiff competition from local the programmers during the other half of this year, including Nexon's "Dark Avenger 3."
Last month, Nexon launched the next edition of the company's mega-hit series "Dark Avenger," which includes racked up over 35 million downloads worldwide.
